Dancing in the Shadow

“Dancing in the Shadow of the Almighty.”

I first heard this phrase at a funeral for a friend who died too young. It struck me. Imagining this man dancing with His savior in Heaven.

The best part? Not only do we get to dance with Jesus in Heaven, but we can start that dance here on earth.

While walking through this current valley of grief, I continue to lean on Jesus for my strength and it is Him who has begun to put dance and song back into my step.

“Because you are my help, I sing (and dance) in the shadow of your wings” (Psalm 63:7).
