A Legacy
91 Years Old- A Legacy Left Behind
Grandma Rogness entered the pearly gates, on the birthday of her beloved husband, a day after the birth of her Savior.
A Flower Granny at our wedding, we were blessed to have had all 4 of our grandmas still living when we got married.
Roses were tossed with glee, her grandson waiting at the end of the aisle for his bride.
Years ago while on the World Race, a year long mission trip around the world, six of us women would pray nightly for our husbands. It may sound silly, but I prayed for a husband with a legacy of a family. Grandparents and parents who prayed.
After meeting my husband I quickly learned of Grandma Rogness and her faithful and joyful heart.
Married to a pastor, they would pray nightly for their kids, their grandkids and their great grandkids.
“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her...Give her of the fruit of her hands and let her works praise her in the gates.” —Proverbs 31
Seeing her 6 children rise up and call her blessed, picturing her husband at those heavenly gates welcoming her home, Jesus praising her, this is Legacy.
